In 2022 I visited Morocco and fell in love with it. The magnificent history and artistry that has been passed down through generations of craftsmen is like no other. This year I returned to Marrakech with my English friend Chris, travel guide extraordinaire, and “Norrie” our Moroccan guide. Together we visited exquisite antique shops and souks, each of them taking turns as my pretend husband to help negotiate price on our fabulous finds as we made our way through the Medina and New Town. This collection is of Berber antique jewelry and pieces from Moroccan history that I incorporated into my work.
